Dineshawar Sharma met former Jammu and Kashmir chief Minister and vice president of National Conference Omar Abdullah at his residence in Srinagar this morning and discussed the prevailing situation in the state as also discussed steps that can be taken to make his visits to the state more meaningful. Omar wrote in a tweet. The Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik have already rejected talks with interlocutor appointed by Government of India (GoI) terming the appointment as “nothing more than a tactic to buy time” by New Delhi.
